In alot of these bigger films...one person is getting so much credit. MNS didn't come up with the Avatar concept. He didn't write the storyline. He's not (hopefully) playing a lead character. He had nothing to do with the success of that series...which has been HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL. I mean, lets not forget about the writers. Without a good/great script...a storyline...you don't have a movie. Without the right cast...you don't have believeable characters. THINK Wolverine. I enjoyed the movie...but like most, I believe it could've/ should've been BETTER. Huge Jackman is BY FAR the best thing about the film, because of his ability to channel the Wolverine that comic book readers have come to know. BUT...his great acting (in that roll), doesn't cover up the bad CGI effects. It doesn't cover up a weak storyline. NO ONE THING, should get the blame for the lack of... With most GREAT films, ALL of these things have to come together. Writing, Directing, Producing, Casting, and Acting. (Reply to this) |
