Piloting one of these planes are Claus and Lavie, who have just accepted a mission to take a mysterious girl named Alvis to the battle ship Silvana. Soon, the two find themselves in the middle of war between two countries being fought in the sky. In this edition, Claus and Lavie take part in a long-distance vanship race. Dio Eraclea joins them, and tries to make friends with Claus, as does Tatiana, who operates under a secret mission directed by Alex Row. While the other race, Alex Row tries to procure the "Exile Door" at an underground auction, but must withdraw when confronted by the Guild.
