Vacationing on the French Riviera, Stanton finds love and adventure in the arms of naval officer Mark Dominic, but tragedy strikes--in the midst of a quarrel, Stanton accidentally shoots and kills Dominic. Stanton enlists the help of her neighbor to move the body and tip off the police with an anonymous call. But the real suspense in this thriller begins when the police arrive and find the body gone. Seberg's performance is excellent, the score from Henry Mancini shines, and director Mervy LeRoy puts 40 years of experience with thrillers to work in the final film of his career. [More]
