Box Office Guru Preview: "Knocked Up" Expecting Solid Arrival
by Gitesh Pandya | May 31, 2007
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

Call it the weekend of the actor/producer. Three new films with stars that do double duty behind the scenes (or have good agents that can snag a free credit) enter a marketplace filled with big-budget tentpole pics quickly eroding away. Back to Article

I really hope that these predictions are true...I would hate to see an unoriginal by-the-numbers serial killer flick take top spot over a unique and edgy comedy.

i hope Knocked Up is as good as they're saying. it has a bunch of the team from two of my fav canceled shows, Undeclared and Freaks n' Geeks. just kinda wish it had a tornado in it...that blew heigl's shirt off...

Has anyone seen Night Watch? I was kinda curious about it. I wanted to see how another country handles that hollywood cgi blockbuster formula. The trailers looked pretty good...

also, that mr. brooks poster looks goofy as hell

I liked Night Watch. Although it is very confusing and a little dull in parts, its certainly a neat little film, with some pretty original elements. Rent it.

Predictions:

Knocked up- $18 million
Mr. Brooks- $5 million
Gracie- $2 million

I want to see Knocked Up knock out Pirates. That might be just wishful thinking though.
