The night watchman who discovers the body is chosen as the initial suspect, but when he proves his innocence, Jewish factory manager Leo Frank is accused of the crime. Despite a lack of concrete evidence, charges are brought against Frank, and Prosecutor Hugh Dorsey (Richard Jordan) uses anti-semitism to rally the public against the suspect. Dorsey finds an ally in journalist Wes Brent (Kevin Spacey), while Georgia governor John Slaton (Jack Lemmon) attempts to dispel the rampant bigotry against Frank and help clear his name. This critically acclaimed television mini-series is based on tragic, true events. [More]
