And as genius as Tommy Lee Jones was (for the, what?, third of the movie he was in), he was playing the pre-retirement version of the character in his far-superior movie "The Valley of Elah." Great acting, but the movie is about character, not plot, and because of that (SPOILER WARNING) the ending just hangs there. I'm okay with movies that leave you wondering, but this one left me not caring and wondering why I was SUPPOSED to care. (Reply to this) |
