Camilla Belle Signs Up for "Stranger" Duty
by Scott Weinberg | June 03, 2005
Discuss Article
You may remember little Camilla Belle from movies like "Practical Magic" and "The Lost World: Jurassic Park," but the all-grown-up version is set to make a brand new impression. Ms. Belle was recently seen alongside Daniel Day-Lewis in "The Ballad of Jack and Rose," and she also has "The Chumscrubber" and "The Quiet" on the horizon. And now comes word from Variety that Camilla has snagged the lead role in Sony's remake of "When a Stranger Calls." Simon West ("Con Air"Wink is directing the adaptation of 1979's babysitting thriller.
