Jimmy Cliff garnered international recognition with his 1969 album WONDERFUL WORLD, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, and Perry Henzell's THE HARDER THEY COME starred the artist as a gritty outlaw hero and featured Cliff's music in the soundtrack as well. Truly a revolutionary of reggae, Cliff paved the way for the likes of Bob Marley, who followed in his footsteps. Sly & Robbie, the drummer/ bassist duo who, during the reggae boom of the '70s, became the most sought-after rhythm section in reggae and pop music, also put in an appearance here.
