Check Out the First "Rush Hour 3" Set Pics
by Scott Weinberg | August 28, 2006
Discuss Article
Although considering that neither Jackie Chan nor Chris Tucker are on set yet, there's not a whole lot of excitement in these "Rush Hour 3" pics. But hey, someone out there might be interested, so here they are.

The pics come from this French site (because "RH3" is shooting in France), with a pointer provided by good ol' ComingSoon.net.

Brett Ratner's "Rush Hour 3" is racing to be ready for an August release date.

(Hey, sorry. It's an unusually slow news day, especially for a Monday!)

And what pretty rainbows they are! Is this movie necessary? Is this the ONLY work Chris Tucker can find? I think Tucker should take over the role of Blade from W Snipes since both of their careers seem to be...f..a..l..t...e....r...i..n..g.
Chan can always go back to Asia and make home-made movies. But Tucker? What a waste. Think of the character he played in The Fifth Element as Gay Blade-Vampire Killer. Heck it's no worse than the cataclysmic traffic accident he's in now.

Chris tucker can be gone for ten years and come back and make an hit movie. How many actors can do that.

A) It's not a hit movie yet. I still can't decide if people are going to show up to this out of expectations developed from the first two, or avoid it because it's freaking Rush Hour 3.

B) Chris Tucker isn't exactly the reason this movie works. Look at Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. Jackie Chan + Comedic Foil = Money Making Movie.

I will give props to Chris Tucker for trying to hold out and make good movies. He jumped the ship on Friday when the crap sequels starting coming out, and he tried to do the same for Rush Hour 3. Too bad there aren't a lot of roles for black men with squeeky voices.

This is so damn true.

Chris Tucker is not the greatest actor in the world. But he's made two hit movies that got him gigantic bundles of cash. And he's made a living. And now he's going to finish off a trilogy with the last good movie he'll ever be in. And he can retire and live in a monstrous house for all eternity with a very comfortable life. So sue him.

Oh, Puhleeese
By the time a "franchise" gets to "3", it's sputtering so bad that it may as wll go straight to video! I love Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker was great in the Fifth Element, but they both need to hire better agents and find some new material.
