Blending genres and attitudes, SAMURAI CHAMPLOO takes place in feudal Japan but contains numerous creative anachronisms, including a hip-hop soundtrack. After saving them from execution, ditzy Fuu holds wild Mugen and composed Jin, two samurai warriors, in an uneasy alliance. The trio travels the countryside in search of the "samurai who smells of sunflowers."
