Poor_Frisco writes: on Feb 28 2008 11:40 PM i don't think semi-pro will do better than blades of glory. That film also had the draw of napolean dynamite and was open to a wider/younger audience. i think it'll be #1 but $35 mil seems a little steep (Reply to this) |

Gimy writes: on Feb 29 2008 06:17 AM its a sad sign of how bad comedies are nowadays when a guy can do the same character, same routine...for years after he leaves SNL and still have box office gold. if he were still funny...it'd be one thing, but i've seen that same character he plays in every movie...on SNL. its just not fresh anymore. Ferrell...Sandler movies(or anything he's involved in)...and Saw all confuse the h3ll out of me. all 3 are only mildly entertaining...yet they always make money. (Reply to this) |

Bigbrother writes: on Feb 29 2008 09:25 AM In reply to this comment (#1608348) Napolean Dynamites appeal or lack thereof is at best a mixed blessing, plus I don't think people have tired yet of the delightful Mr. Ferrell. I'm gonna say 42 Mil Opening Weekend. This looks like a funny movie to me. The guys gonna wrestle a bear!!! Grizzly Adams milked 5 seasons out of that concept, Will Ferrells gonna milk at least 150 million domestic out of it. (Reply to this) |
