Amy Cooper (Sandy Duncan) is a perky, patriotic, all-American girl who aspires to be an Olympic swimmer. Andy Hobart (Tony Roberts) and Norman Cornell (Todd Susman) write about radical politics for an underground campus newspaper. Their conflicting ideologies form a strange attraction of opposites, and soon the two men find themselves vying for Amy in a comic love triangle.
