Consensus: An unusually sweet and charming comedy by the Farrelly brothers. Fans may miss the distinct lack of bodily fluids though.

This time around a couple of conjoined twins (Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon) are the focus, and this premise provides for a relentless string of clever, absurd, and always-fresh jokes. Bob (Damon) and Walt (Kinnear) are living happy lives, perfectly content to be joined by a patch of skin that extends from armpit to hip and allows them to share a liver. Though they must do everything in tandem, they are best friends and treat each other as individuals with separate lives. Living on Martha's Vineyard, Bob (Damon) owns a popular local diner where he and Walt work as incredibly fast-moving short-order cooks with all four hands in perfect sync flipping burgers and slicing vegetables--this is one of the best gags in the film. However, as the brothers are shown playing hockey, fighting kung-fu style, cruising for babes in a bar, and taking on basically any other feat imaginable, the laughs only get better. Trouble comes when suave, confident Walt decides to pursue a Hollywood acting career, and Bob's stage fright, panic attacks, and shyness present a personality clash. Nonetheless, they get to meet Meryl Streep, they land a starring role in a television show with Cher, and they find some nice girlfriends. The Farellys keep their signature gross-out humor to a minimum with this likeable film, and provide some truly great, easily digestible physical comedy. [More]

Reviews for Stuck on You
Though the Farrellys helped revitalize the mainstream shock-gag genre, they’re also the most persistent in revealing its humanist potential.
The Farrelly brothers -- closet humanists of the first order -- deliver a terrifically funny flick, smartly more invested in character rather than its outrageous premise.
'Sólo se puede recomendar si no tiene nada que hacer y está con ánimos de una buena dosis de humor negro y excesivo. Si no, ni le busque'
The Farrelly Brothers go soft in their old age with this shockingly inoffensive comedy about a pair of conjoined twins.
silly, the film's funny chart progresses with a steady flow of peaks and valleys
Not only is the Farrelly brothers’ latest film the funniest film of the year, it marks a quantum leap forward for the filmmaking duo.
If you're after a comedy that will make you laugh for many of its 115 minutes, Stuck On You does deliver.
The Farrellys most personal film since Dumb and Dumber. Is that a compliment?
The secret of the Farrelly’s best films is that they have undisguised affection for the oddballs in their movies.
it is an enduring and welcome deviation from the mean-spirited comedies that expend so much energy tearing people down.
What sets the Farrelly brothers apart from their gross out peers is that their movies can involve the brain and touch the heart during breaks between embarrassing discharges.
A one-note, one-joke movie, it wastes terrific performances from Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear.
A one-joke affair about conjoined twins that feels like it bypassed the scripting stage and was filmed directly from the pitch, the comedy remains resoundingly unfunny despite the strained efforts of stars Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear.
