Consensus: An unusually sweet and charming comedy by the Farrelly brothers. Fans may miss the distinct lack of bodily fluids though.

This time around a couple of conjoined twins (Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon) are the focus, and this premise provides for a relentless string of clever, absurd, and always-fresh jokes. Bob (Damon) and Walt (Kinnear) are living happy lives, perfectly content to be joined by a patch of skin that extends from armpit to hip and allows them to share a liver. Though they must do everything in tandem, they are best friends and treat each other as individuals with separate lives. Living on Martha's Vineyard, Bob (Damon) owns a popular local diner where he and Walt work as incredibly fast-moving short-order cooks with all four hands in perfect sync flipping burgers and slicing vegetables--this is one of the best gags in the film. However, as the brothers are shown playing hockey, fighting kung-fu style, cruising for babes in a bar, and taking on basically any other feat imaginable, the laughs only get better. Trouble comes when suave, confident Walt decides to pursue a Hollywood acting career, and Bob's stage fright, panic attacks, and shyness present a personality clash. Nonetheless, they get to meet Meryl Streep, they land a starring role in a television show with Cher, and they find some nice girlfriends. The Farellys keep their signature gross-out humor to a minimum with this likeable film, and provide some truly great, easily digestible physical comedy. [More]

I laughed. I cried. Quite possibly, I teared up even more than I laughed.

As it limps to its conclusion, we're all too conscious of how slim this premise was to begin with.

The film proceeds in fits and starts, but [the Farrelly brothers] find clever ways to exploit all the conjoined-twin humor without offending.

Stuck doesn't come close to There's Something About Mary -- still the Farrellys' peak -- but it's half a notch above Shallow Hal and a good deal funnier than landfill like Me, Myself & Irene.

The physical performances of (Matt) Damon and (Greg) Kinnear are marvelous.

The humor of the twins' predicament doesn’t come from how awkward things are for them, but how EASY things are.

Not as funny as other Farrelly offerings, but it has a charisma that will stick with you.

There is a lot of real sentiment delivered and, with Damon and Kinnear, [the Farrellys] make it into something a big cut above their usual gross out slapstick

Even though it features a pair of conjoined twins and the one and only Cher, the Farrelly Brothers’ latest comedy offers kinder, gentler laughs.

The Farrellys' sentimental streak cuts into their unabashedly tasteless humor -- and leaves Stuck on You stuck in a rut.

A one-joke movie - pretty tame for a Farrelly brothers' movie with none of the usual gross-out humor and more attempts at a heartfelt story.

Except for a few bright moments with its cast, Stuck on You doesn't stick with you in any way other than to remind you the Farrelly brothers have lost their touch.

There's a generosity of spirit to Stuck on You that is a pleasure, even when the movie is slipshod.

(The Farrelly Brothers) have a tendency to rely on good gags to prop up shopworn storytelling.

Where this picture really fails is in the fallacy that it needs to be a comedy at all.

The jokes are hit-or-miss, but most of what they come up with is pretty good.
