Consensus: An unusually sweet and charming comedy by the Farrelly brothers. Fans may miss the distinct lack of bodily fluids though.

This time around a couple of conjoined twins (Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon) are the focus, and this premise provides for a relentless string of clever, absurd, and always-fresh jokes. Bob (Damon) and Walt (Kinnear) are living happy lives, perfectly content to be joined by a patch of skin that extends from armpit to hip and allows them to share a liver. Though they must do everything in tandem, they are best friends and treat each other as individuals with separate lives. Living on Martha's Vineyard, Bob (Damon) owns a popular local diner where he and Walt work as incredibly fast-moving short-order cooks with all four hands in perfect sync flipping burgers and slicing vegetables--this is one of the best gags in the film. However, as the brothers are shown playing hockey, fighting kung-fu style, cruising for babes in a bar, and taking on basically any other feat imaginable, the laughs only get better. Trouble comes when suave, confident Walt decides to pursue a Hollywood acting career, and Bob's stage fright, panic attacks, and shyness present a personality clash. Nonetheless, they get to meet Meryl Streep, they land a starring role in a television show with Cher, and they find some nice girlfriends. The Farellys keep their signature gross-out humor to a minimum with this likeable film, and provide some truly great, easily digestible physical comedy. [More]

An almost completely unfunny comedy that comes off as an apology for all the tasteless, scatological stuff that came before in Dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary.

Stuck on You, despite its penchant for the crude and lewd, is gooey in ways that have nothing to do with bodily fluids.

While it's no Bad Santa in terms of relentlessly invigorating bad taste, the movie has more than enough for aficionados of guilty pleasure.

A one joke film (and not much of a joke at that) that tries hard but mostly falls flat.

It may feel like assembly-line work. But during a holiday movie season crammed with celluloid equivalents of filet mignon, sometimes it's good to chomp down on a decent burger.

The tone is so mild, innocuous and inoffensive as to be positively boring...you might call the result 'Bland and Blander.'

The Farrelly brothers dispense with their usual brand of offensive, gross-out humor and deliver their best film since the offensively gross, hilarious Kingpin.

Beyond the gimmicky play on words and a myriad of site gags lies a deep connection between two men who know nothing but togetherness.

One can say that the film's creators have lost it, and one would probably be correct.

By the time of its medical-operation climax, Stuck On You has focused so much on ennobling the disabled that it comes to resemble a segment of the Jerry Lewis telethon.

There's a daft sweetness and inclusiveness at work that sustains the Farrelly movie long after the notion of attached brothers boxing or quarterbacking or manning a burger joint's kitchen fails to stir the chuckle meter.

Though it lacks the laugh-a-minute comic mastery of Kingpin or Shallow Hal's cutting insights, Stuck On You is still a big-hearted charmer.
