"This is a Harvester, and we also have the Aerostats which are a kind of medium-size Terminator. Again, we've gone for as much of a sense of realism in this really dark world as we can. Cameron said to me with Battle Angel that the important thing is that the designs always are able to do the jobs they're designed for and it's the same with this movie. The Aerostat's job is to go out and they search for humans, they fly over the landscape, and when they spot humans they send out for one of the Harvesters who come in, very much like a big storm-trooping soldier, and load the living humans into the Transporters."

King Thor writes: on May 15 2009 10:18 AM I think its really cool how they are going for as much realism as possible, and they aren't relying just on CGI but using real props too. Yeah I think it would've been cool if they never said anything about Marcus, so people could go to the theater and see it and be shocked without knowing before hand. But, that opportunity has passed. Adam R. writes: on May 15 2009 03:06 PM I agree about saying a lot about marcus, but if you didn't want spoilers, why are you reading things like this? Ha! I'm just kidding, it is kind of annoying. Even the trailer gives you a pretty good idea what Marcus is. Bummer. I still have no idea what the movie is gonna be like, but I'm liking everything I see/hear so far. Even the guy who was the badass commander in Starship Troopers is in this. I think it is SO cool they built as much as possible. CGI is one of the worst things that has happened to movie making despite what it can do for film, simply because it is overused or used inadequately a LOT of the time. CGI should be used only when its a necessity, and thats what the people on terminator salvation seem to be doing. rock on. star trek used CGI really well too, that movie has a great a look about it, and the CGI and real stuff fits seamlessly. Awesome. (Reply to this) |

John Mclane writes: on May 18 2009 01:57 AM i was excited about this, even after getting sensory raped by T3 then I seen the advert and noticed its a 12A!! Obviously studios wan't as much money for their investment as possible but seriously a terminator movie an 8 year old can go see doesn't sound like a proper terminator movie to me. (can someone PM me if thhey know how I can change my username, Graham R sucks but I am worried I am stuck with it now as I can't seem to find an option in settings, thanks.) (Reply to this) |
