Inventive, hilarious, witty, touching and exhiliarting, (the final climatic scene which follows an airline's baggage handling system is heart stopping) "Toy Story 2" is that rarest of things - a perfect film.

Toy Story 2 always struck me as a disappointment. It's a fine movie with plenty of spirit, but the franchise formula feels diluted, lacking the spark of creativity that made the original film sing.

With very rare exceptions - sequels are not nearly as good as the original. However, leave it to the folks at Pixar to manufacture the quintessential exception to this rule.
