WILD THINGS: Wildly popular at the box office, this sexy black comedy-thriller revolves around a seemingly virtuous but undeniably attractive high school guidance counselor (Matt Dillon) who is accused of raping two of his young female students (Denise Richards, Neve Campbell). Bill Murray (LOST IN TRANSLATION, THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU) plays an oddball attorney, who, with Detective Ray Duquette (Kevin Bacon), comes to Lombardo's aid, unraveling a much larger blackmail scheme involving some of the town's least suspicious residents. The film features director John McNaughton's (HENRY PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER, NORMAL LIFE) best talents: sinuous, layered storytelling, racy cinematography, and shocking plot twists.
