7. New to DVD: Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens

Having shot some of the most iconic celebrity photographs in the last few decades (John Lennon on the eve of his death, Demi Moore nude and pregnant, and Miley Cyrus most recently), it's about time photographer Annie Leibovitz got her own documentary. Shot, written, and directed by Leibovitz's sister Barbara, Life Through a Lens follows Leibovitz at work snapping celebrities, interviewing a handful of them about their photo shoot experiences while discussing the life and career of the woman who gave Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair some of their most intimate celebrity portraits ever.

Sorry, I'm not interested in anything this week.

So, I'll just write one of my favorite movie lines and see if you can guess where it's from.

"Now the cresendo, YES! Ha ha ha ha ha ha, isn't it beautiful, ha ha ha ha ha!"

I want to see Hell Ride, i was set on buying it but seeing the 11% is making me more cautious now. Has anyone seen it? Jen? be honest is it really that bad? Otherwise Sukiyaki Western Django isn't too much farther away.

I will wait for Zombie Strippers and Hell ride to come to cable. This week pretty much sucks, I cant wait til November! I cant wait for the TROPIC THUNDER director's Cut and HB II, and I am really looking forward to renting WALL-E.

Congrats brendan p. you're right. And jokerboy, do yourself a favor and see WALL-E as soon as possible. The thing is Hellboy II, Tropic Thunder, and WALL-E are'nt on this article.

Hey how's Kit Kittredge dying... and coming back as a ZOMBIE STRIPPER!

Oh my god! She used the term "vehicle" when talking about her "film." Jeeeeeesus, is the interviewer really asking this chick serious film questions? That's awesome.

Is RT now rating Jenna Jameson adult porn movies? Oh God what is the world coming to? and then to jumble up Kitt Kittredge and adult porn in the same category, how appropriate.

Freddy and Jenna in a movie together, come on that's amazingly, terribly great! And I pre-ordered Poultrygeist, ready for all of it's ridiculousness as well!

Kittredge didn't make a lot of money in the theaters, but for anyone looking for a heart-warming movie, I was a really, really big fan of this movie for the family genre (looks like the critics felt the same way). It's clearly not at all complex, but you'll actually be entertained and it has a pretty impressive cast.

I cant wait to see Wall-E, here in latin america they always bring animation in spanish and fack that, no way i will see a movie or animation in spanish, going to get the dvd as soon a posible.

Saw Hell Ride yesterday and it was..... decent 6/10, the acting was alright (madsen cool a always), a lot of great tits :), decent story, the music wasnt that bad, but overall, worth seeing on cable.

mssk8erboy, I would say spend your rental money on Sukiyaki Western Django instead of Hell Ride...:)

ledawg, Zombie Strippers is indeed almost enjoyable...almost. I can't say it's good. But I saw some things I thought I'd never see in a movie. Like the zombie stripper fight involving projectile billiards balls. Or Jenna Jameson NOT having sex on film. If you like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing you'll like. :)

I'm sick of Jenna Jameson, especially involving Mixed Martial Arts. I'll always like her, though, for totally ripping on Bill O'Reilly more than anyone else.

Interesting Interview, I'm glad Jen decided to go with the frumpiest outfit I've ever seen her wear, lest Jameson accost her. . .

=)

I'll let ya know what I think of Suriyaki Western Django if the Netflix Gods let me get it on time.

When the FIRST DVD listed is "Zombie Strippers", you know you'd be better off renting a carpet steamer than any movies this week...

I could be completely wrong, but I want to say it's The Pink Panther Strikes Again.
