Strong Showing Leads to Second "Constantine"
by RT Staff | February 22, 2005
Discuss Article
With a strong showing of $34.6 million in its President's Day weekend opening, "Constantine" will get the sequel treatment. "Considering that this was an unknown quantity, we're obviously really pleased with the results and look forward to the sequel," Warner Bros.'s president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman said. Expect Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz back for the sequel. "Constantine"'s opening grosses were the biggest ever for an R-rated film during a four-day holiday frame.
