Production Weekly brings news of an upcoming Andrew Davis ("The Fugitive") action flick that will star Kevin Costner ("Open Range") and Ashton Kutcher ("The Butterfly Effect").

"The Guardian" will start shooting this October in Louisiana, and will cover the story of "a troubled young man who enlists in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he is taken under the wing of a famed rescue swimmer still struggling with the loss of his team in an accident years earlier."
