Get Comfy and Settle Down with "Elizabethtown"

Click here to enjoy a long and lovely sneak peek of "Elizabethtown," which is the new film by writer/director Cameron Crowe. Starring Orlando Bloom ("The Lord of the Rings"), Kirsten Dunst ("Spider-Man"), Susan Sarandon ("Bull Durham"), Alec Baldwin ("The Cooler"), Judy Greer ("Cursed"), and Jessica Biel ("Stealth"), "Elizabethtown" tells the story of an outrageous memorial for a Southern patriarch, in which an unexpected romance blooms between a young woman and man.

Cameron Crowe is the filmmaker behind such well-regarded "people stories" as "Say Anything," "Jerry Maguire," and "Almost Famous," so obviously his next project is met with high hopes and much anticipation -- and this lengthy trailer clip is a little bit of loveliness.

"Elizabethtown" opens on October 14th.

Always looking forward to anything from Crowe. Plus Jessica Biel is fine.

Crowe made the fantastic "Almost Famous", so I'm definitely going to see this one.

If IMDB's pic is to be believed, that's Jed Rees in the picture. It is NOT Orlando Bloom.

That's not Orlando Bloom (are you blind?!) and the pic on IMDB for Jed Rees looks nothing like this guy. Any other ideas?

The person in the picture above is the amazingly talented actor Paul Schneider of "All the Real Girls". Schneider is going to have a smaller in the film, but Orlando Bloom is the main star along with Kirsten Dunst. I cannot wait for this movie. Crowe has made three of my favorites of all-time, "Almost Famous", "Say Anything...", and "Jerry Maguire".

I'm sick of Orlando whats-his-name? So wish he wasn't in this movie. Actually I'm surprised he's actually in this movie considering he won't be running around with a sword, or will he?

I was extremely surprised that he was cast in this film as well, considering it features no weaponry of any kind (maybe). I'm not a fan of Bloom so far in his career, but I think this one will be a significant turning point. Crowe can make anyone look good.
