Move over, Apple. There's a new nifty-nomenclatured kid in town. Out-doing the recent spate of Hollywood 'rents bestowing 'special' names upon their newborns, Nic Cage and wife Alice Kim welcomed a Superbaby into their home Monday -- Kal-El Coppola Cage.

It's Cage's second child (he has a 14 year-old son, Weston, with actress Kristina Fulton) and the first for the happy couple, who wed last year. Named after comic hero Superman himself, little Kal-El totally wins this round of Name-Your-Tinseltown-Tot, beating out Apple (Gwyneth Paltrow), Maddox & Zahara (Angelina Jolie), Hazel & Phinnaeus (Julia Roberts), and Banjo (Rachel Griffiths).

The youngest addition to the extended Coppola clan (daddy Nicholas's fam includes Francis Ford Coppola, Sofia Coppola, Spike Jonze, Talia Shire, and Jason Schwartzman), Kal-El has already leapfrogged up to the higher echelons of cool-moniker kids, where his peers include Audio Science (Shannyn Sossamon), Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee) and fellow Superbaby, Moxie CrimeFighter (Penn Jillette).
