The Hollywood Reporter brings news of a new holiday-themed comedy from Mike Mitchell, director of "Sky High." It's about Santa's disgruntled older brother, and it's called "Fred Claus."

"Mike Mitchell has signed on to direct "Fred Claus" for Warner Bros. Pictures. Jessie Nelson is producing the comedy and will also receive a "story by" credit. "Fred Claus" follows Fred, the jealous older brother of Santa, who must put his bitterness aside when he is forced to move into Santa's home at the North Pole. Dan Fogelman wrote the screenplay based on Nelson's treatment."

Mr. Mitchell also directed "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" and "Surviving Christmas."
