Photo Gallery Update: 50 "V For Vendetta" Pics!

Click over to the "V For Vendetta" page to view our updated photo gallery of fifty stills and production photos from the upcoming futuristic anarchist action-thriller, starring Natalie Portman and a masked Hugo Weaving.

"V For Vendetta" follows the underground freedom fighter "V" (Hugo Weaving) as he unleashes his one-man assault on the totalitarian government of an alternate British future. Along the way he rescues and mentors a young woman (Natalie Portman) as she joins his cause of anarchist rebellion.

Among the choice selection in our photo gallery are publicity shots of Evey (Portman) and V (Weaving); production photos of director James McTeigue and Weaving, sans his ever-present Guy Fawkes mask; and plenty of stills from the movie! Take a peek at the Big Brother-esque world of "Vendetta," and then enter the Natalie Portman "hair" or "no hair" debate -- we've got some good shots of both Natalies.

You can also watch the two trailers here, or browse the "V For Vendetta" flipbook.

"Vendetta" is written and produced by the Wachowski brothers and is their first feature film since completing the "Matrix" series. James McTeigue makes his directorial debut in this adaptation of a graphic novel penned by comic book-to-screen vet Alan Moore ("The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," "From Hell," and the upcoming "Watchmen") and David Lloyd.

"V For Vendetta" will be released with the luck of the Irish on St. Patrick's Day -- March 17, 2006.
