Didn't this book JUST come out? Seems a little soon to make a movie about it. Granted, he has to do Hostel 2 first...

This movie might be good. Eli Roth with his over the top gore style will fit the story of Stephen King's "Cell" really well. The Story of the book is so crazy from what i read of it. I read a lil of "Cell" in the little portion of it in a issue of EW a month ago. Prepare for this movie to be extremely gory and have a hard R rating. Eli Roth does too much with scaring us with the violence and gore in his movies instead of scaring us with things that doesnt invovle so much of blood and severd limbs. Besides that he has talent and is a refreshing, unique type of horror director that i appericate even though some of his styles aren't my favorite.

It will be interesting to see how they adapt this. It is a pretty straightforward horror book for the most part, but the ending leaves a lot to interpretation, so it will be interesting to see how they resolve it in the movie.

Zombie movies are usually good for me. Some suck, but it and kids movies are my soft spots. Stephen King is a good writer, and I imagine the reason that Roth wants to do the screenplay is so some people don't mess it up in Hollywood. This should be good.
