Eddie Griffin Crashes the "Redline"
by Scott Weinberg | April 11, 2006
Discuss Article
If the idea of seeing Eddie Griffin in an action movie isn't enough to get you excited for "Redline," perhaps this will: One of the producers will trash his $200k Porsche for one of the action scenes.

From The Hollywood Reporter: "Nathan Phillips and Eddie Griffin are toplining "Redline," an auto thriller being directed by stunt coordinator-turned-director Andy Cheng. Daniel Sadek is producing via his Chicago Pictures banner. The film also stars Nadia Bjorlin ("Days of Our Lives") and will feature a cameo from Wyclef Jean, who is scoring the movie. Not only is Sadek, a real estate investor-turned-producer, financing the pic to the tune of $26 million, but he also is using his personal car collection for the car sequences. Sadek is putting his Phantom, Lamborghini Murcielago, Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari F430, Ferrari Scaglietti and two McLarens, among others, in the movie and will destroy one of his two $200,000 Porsche Carrera GTs in one sequence."

when was the last time when eddie griffin stared alone in a movie(except for dysfunktional family). O ya it was undercover brother, they should make a sequel for that.

Why they haven't made a sequel to Undercover Brother is a mystery to me. I guess he would rather continue making crappy movies.

the guy must be desperate to get this movie made if he is prepared to trash his 200k Porsche. What a nutjob!

The producer suffers shortmans complex
the producer is a nutjob. he will do anything to be accepted into american culture. he is a really short man who has bad pock marks so he tries his best to make himself look big by using whatever means he has. he made his fortune off of ripping people off in their mortgages. he is one of those middle eastern guys that uses an american name to try to fit in. i bet you hes the type of guy that once him and his friends start going to a club you can give it the kiss of death. cant you see them, those types of guys that wear their shirts half buttoned, all of their gold medallions tangled in their chest hair, wreaking of old spice and insisting to all the girls that they want them. and i nearly died laughing when one of his 1.5 million dollar cars got wrecked by griffin earlier today. serves him right. just a little bit of karma kicking him in his scronny ass.
