Lindsay Lohan is Jane Fonda's Granddaughter
by Scott Weinberg | April 20, 2006
Discuss Article
Lindsay Lohan and Jane Fonda will co-star together in Garry Marshall's "Georgia Rule," says Variety. The actresses will be playing granddaughter and grandmother, plus Felicity Huffman's in there as Mom, too.

From Variety: "Jane Fonda is preparing to mentor Lindsay Lohan.

The two thesps are attached to star along with Felicity Huffman in "Georgia Rule," which Garry Marshall is aboard to helm, write and produce.

Story centers on a rebellious young woman (Lohan) who has a dysfunctional relationship with her mother (Huffman) and is sent to spend a summer with her grandmother (Fonda).

Though deals aren't done yet, project is eyeing an August start date."

Yes, Yes, Yes, YES! Jane Fonda is back again. I was afraid that her so called "return for the third act" was to only star in Monster-In-Law. I guess she's really back then!

Does that mean she's going to play Barbarella's grandmother in the remake of Barbarella. I hope so.

another LL movie
I recently did a search on Lindsay Lohan and her upcoming movies...where does she find time to do the things we read about? Jus this year she has 3 movies, the anticipated summer flick, 'Just My Luck', and the promising movies, 'A Prairie Home Companion' and 'Bobby'. She's also in talks for 'Dallas' and 'Wonder Woman' and she had 2 other movies lined up for a while. Damn. Looks like Hilary Duff is out of work. Maybe she'll do 'Raise Your Voice 2'. Ha.
