Frankie Muniz Abandons Early Retirement for SNL's "Parental Guidance"

Does anyone else remember "Malcolm in the Middle"'s Frankie Muniz announcing his retirement from acting just last month? Apparently he's reconsidered to star in a SNL-driven comedy about teens, sex, and, um, animals...

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Parental Guidance Suggested" is set to star Muniz along with Jamie Kennedy, Andy Milonakis, and Matthew Lillard. "Punk'd" red carpet hassler Ryan Pinkston will also star in the "teen sketch sex comedy," which boasts multiple segments and over 70 speaking parts.

Helming this ambitious project will be first-time directors Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobsen, the writing team that brought that opus on the same theme, "Not Another Teen Movie." Writing credits will be split at least seven ways, with scripts for different segments contributed by Epstein, Jacobsen, John Solomon, "Saturday Night Live" writers Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, and "SNL"'s own Andy Samberg and Will Forte.

From The Hollywood Reporter: "Muniz stars as a teen who loses his virginity with his girlfriend (Ashley Schneider), only to find she wants to take things much further, including farm animals and midgets."

An SNL comedy being handled by the people who did Not Another Teen Movie? Splendid!

This is so worth not retiring for.

I wouldn't mind seeing Malcolm raped by a midget

I liked Not Another Teen Movie, and Lillard can be funny.
