Aronofsky's "Fountain" Gets a Release Date
AICN informs us that Darren Aronofsky's cool-looking and slow-arriving "The Fountain" will now hit the screens on October 13th.
"Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world."

Written and directed by Darren Aronofsky ("Requiem for a Dream"), and starring Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz, Ellen Burstyn, and Sean Patrick Thomas, "The Fountain" looks ... pretty darn awesome.
