Trailer Bulletin: Borat
by Scott Weinberg | June 22, 2006
Discuss Article
If you don't think that Sacha Baron Cohen is one of the funniest guys on the planet, well ... then I'd have to disagree with you. Even if you're judging solely by the guy's 'Borat' character, Cohen is a drop-dead hilarious goofball/satirist. And here's some good news: There's a "Borat" movie coming -- and here's the trailer!

"Borat Sagdiyev, Kazakhstan's sixth most famous man and a leading journalist from the State run TV network, travels from his home in Kazakhstan to the U.S. to make a documentary. On his cross-country road-trip, Borat meets real people in real situations with hysterical consequences."

"Borat," which was directed by Larry Charles (after Todd Phillips quit or got fired during production), hits theaters on November 5th.

(And if you don't think that trailer was funny, try these pics.)

It's the funniest movie I've seen since The Naked Gun. Saw it at Cannes. People there seemed to have enjoyed it.
