Robin Williams On Board "Bourne 3"?
by Scott Weinberg | July 17, 2006
Discuss Article
Cinescape starts the week off with another interesting rumor about Robin Williams: Allegedly he's being considered for a crucial role in the third (and probably final) Jason Bourne adventure, which will be called "The Bourne Ultimatum." Matt Damon and Julia Stiles are already scheduled to return.

From Cinescape: "What he does know is that they're looking at Robin Williams for the part. He'd play some sort of family member or link to Bourne's past."

Obviously everyone is taking this piece of casting gossip with a grain of salt ... but it would be pretty cool to get a "Good Will Hunting" reunion going here. (Someone call Affleck and Skarsgard!)

When I saw the headline, a Good Will Hunting reunion was the first thing that came to mind! Funny it was mentioned. Interesting news. I'm a huge fan of the Bourne films and I think Robin Williams has done some of his best work with darker roles so I'll have to keep an eye out.

If this news sticks then Damon should easily get a role in Patch Adams 2!

Sorry bud, I think you were the only one. In my opinion, both Bourne movies were pretty amazing, raw and superbly acted.
