Scarlett Reunites With Timberlake Director for Brilliance
She's got the busiest agent in town.

It wouldn't be a complete week around here without a report on a Scarlett Johansson project. Thankfully, MTV Movies has come along with word on yet another of Johansson's upcoming films.

The film in question is Brilliance, a heist flick about -- you guessed it -- jewel thieves. The project was searching for a director when Johansson suggested Samuel Bayer, who she'd recently worked with on the video (sorry, mini-movie) for Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around...Comes Around." She was apparently impressed with his work, and according to the MTV report, the feeling was mutual. As Bayer told the network:

"Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around, and she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won't catch. She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she's crying. It was just unbelievable. It's stuff like that which makes you know someone's a star."

We always thought it was stuff like that which made you know someone was an actor, or bipolar -- but maybe Bayer has a point, because we were laughing when we started writing this report, and now we're sort of tearing up a little. But whatever. The director is certainly very excited about the movie:

"So many things came together in all the right ways. It really was a case of 'what goes around, comes around.' In a good way."

Ha! Get it? He said 'what goes around, comes around,' because it...oh, never mind. If you want to see all nine minutes of the Timberlake video, which apparently includes shots of Johansson "driving really fast and making out in a pool," follow the link below.

I would say the same about Scarlett but I think a hundred billion men would pummel me over. She becomes her character? She's ALWAYS the same to me. She's always got that sexy vibe that men find so attractive, but to me it's ridiculous because not every character has that, not every girl is like that. It's more than her face, it's how she's playing the characters. She always plays them the same.

Maybe I haven't seen enough of her movies. Maybe there's one flick out there that showcases her versatility, and I've missed it.

Witherwings,
are you on drugs? are you trying to say that scarlett is not a good actress? and what is this about you saying that every girl is not as her? is it her fault that she is unique and beautiful?
Scarlett is one of those few actresses who manages to get into her character without any effort. She doesn't need to run from one room to the other crying, depend on custumes, mess up her face, loose weight, or use make up to get into her character. A talent that Kate Winslet equally possesses in greater detail. Scarlet's talent comes from her splendid ability to interprete and get into a role without relying on external features like weight change or make up.
And which young starlet out there can match her talent? jessica biel? please. The few young starlets who are in her league are keira knightley and natalie portman.
And as for her movies, you were probably watching with a blind eye. You should see an eye specialist.
