Wonderful... Guys, this is why you just gotta love Denzel Washington. The Oscar trophies handed out to black male stars these days must be laced with some kind of weaponized hallucinogen designed to dwarf their talent. Gooding Jr. gets one, hello Snow Dogs. Foxx? Enter the regression into Wanda.

It's flat out ridiculous, you ask me. Foxx and Lawrence have been searching high and low for a vehicle to do together and this bull$hit is the best they can come up with?

Foxx should be aiming higher, entirely above this abortion of an idea. And Lawrence at this point is better suited doing empty bottom feeder family films with Ice Cube. Perhaps Lawrence, Cube, and Vin Diezel should do a film together. Brace yourselves for this mind blowing concept!

The three of them, right, are all after the same girl. Only, she's obese and woefully obnoxious. Eats whole cows and stuff. Enter the surprise. It's Eddie Murphy in another fat suit! The men's common problem is that the woman, she wants them all and can't decide which of them to choose. SOOOOOO, she sends them on an epic quest to find the magic tool necessary for any man to find his way through the suffocating infernal abyss between her sweaty corpulent legs. Suddenly the story becomes this great Indian Jones-esque/National Treasure/Count of Monte Cristo-type spoof thing. The title? Well, call it "Three Neutered Clowns and a Shoehorn."

"What a great idea!" someone intones. High fives around the table. "Wow, I'm spent. Let's break for lunch."

I had the same initial thought, but you said much better than I would've. Foxx needs to rethink this.

matanuki, you forgot to add jackie chan to that list of superstars who did a pacifier ripoff that should be coming out soon. anyways, wtf are they thinking?
"you know what we need to make? another black guys crossdressing movie! yeah! that was funny in the 90's. which means it's relevant again. time to get paid!"

I feel the movie (Foxx and Lawrence) may do well, regardless how terrible you guys think this idea is going to be. You guys may not be the audience but if Foxx and Martin Lawrence tried their bit on the BET awards and received enough laughs to convince them to make a featured film about it. Why not!!! Tyler Perry's big break started playing as Madea and the movies all did well at the boxoffice. Also, this is not the first time the two lead actors played drag -Jamie Foxx played drag in Living Color the tv show and Martin Lawrence was in "Big Momma's House" and was successful enough a sequel was even made.

"Men-in-drag" movies are more successful than women looking like men. According to history- Dustin Hoffman was nominated for an Oscar with "Tootsie". There are also "Nuns On The Run", "Private School", "The Nutty Professor", "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", Robin Williams as "Mrs Doubtfire" made a ton of money. And the classic "Some Like It Hot" with Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. What most of these films have in common is that they're all comedies.

I would not dismiss this idea completely, just yet.

How does Martin Lawrence convince these fantastic actors to let him drag them down. Seriously, he's been living off other peoples talent for years now. First Eddie Murphy, then Will Smith, Now Jamie Foxx. Does this guy have a superhot sister that he passes out in trade or what?
