When looking at the tomato meter, I was rather surprised by this one being rotten. It's true the heist itself is rather contrived but the characters and the actors... More

Death in Venice is apparently a good book. I haven't read it yet, although I want to after seeing this adaptation. Ebert said he didn't like how the relationship... More

Mark of The Vampire was the best of the three. The movie starts of as a simple Dracula tale that suffers from its biggest flaw: the characters are badly underdeveloped.
Luckily Hooper manages to create a creepy atmosphere, most noticeable during the scenes inside Dracula's castle.

Too bad the movie ends on a twist that is so stupid it should belong in a modern horror movie, not here.

5.4/10

Again with the bad horror movies huh? Have you seen Godsend? Now that is just plain terrible. The only thing I can say is that I did not think the boy could play a freakier kid than in The Butterfly Effect.

I can't help it, I need to see some bad stuff from time to time.
I'm not seeing Godsend though, I hate bad horror movies with a decent budget.

Now that's not fair. You have to see it, just so you can say how bad it is.

I can't stand to see DeNiro embarras himself, so no.

Funny how all of these awful DTV horror films have really promising DVD covers.

I mean, look at that big bloody croc!

Ownage!:D

It's as if more money was spent on the cover than on the movie.
Then again, just about all DTV movies share a similar cover:

I meant to make this comment sooner but forgot. That chick in the Squirm poster is not in the film. I guess they didn't want to use the emaciated redhead or her homely little sister. :)

Heh, now that you mention it.
It's not even that big a change. They could've at least put a porn star on there.

Yep. They could upgrade quite a bit more. Nice set of gillman lips she's got there. :D

The badly done effects on her cheek are a nice touch.
