It’s time for some cheesy horror entertainment. (Mommiezombie digs down into her caldron and rummages around.) What do we have here? Candy Stripers it looks like.






When Matt and his teammates are injured at a basketball game and end up at the local hospital, they start to find that the candy stripers there are not as harm less as they look. Strange and odd things are happening. One by one men are disappearing. The hospital thinks it’s a viral outbreak. The men are covered in this cotton candy like web stuff. Matt and his friends soon realize that they have to get out but find when they try that the hospital is quarantined.


The Candy Stripers start to make their move. They have a horrible appetite for sugar and devour anything thing sweet in their way. Oh did I forget to tell you that they Candy Stripers are inhabited by an alien and the aliens are trying to breed? Can Matt and his friends escape or will they become the next thing on the menu for the Candy Stripers?



What possessed me to pick up this movie? Well the cover did. It had cheese written all over the cover. Playboy playmates, aliens, blood what more can you want? Sounded like a good mix of a movie for the hubby and I to watch. And you know if the Playmates are in it your going to see some nudity in it. And yep there was some.

There are some pretty decent gore moments in the movie. The thing that weighed the movie down is the acting. The acting was just boring. The plot itself yes has been done tons of times but it’s always a fun one to watch.

You won't be surprised by one thing in this movie, yet your won't be bored either. All in all this is a good one time watch, but for gore fans. If your looking for anything else besides gore, unnecessary sex scenes and violence then skip this and go watch another movie.
