Star Wars: A New Hope is the beacon in which all Hollywood blockbusters will be measured against from 1977 on. Seldom does a film come along that has the creativity, the scope, humor, action, soundtrack and overall character that George Lucas' masterpiece does.

Often times people consider The Empire Strikes Back to be the highlight of this series, but nothing matches A New Hope for it sheer groundbreaking sense of adventure and excitement.

Whether you're watching the 1977 original or the 1997 special edition, A New Hope is a masterpiece that sports more heart in the first thirty minutes than most films can even think about in their conception.
