Shaolin Drunkard (2002)
The Hellzapoppin of kung fu flicks with its breathless stream of Buster Keaton gags and Warner Bros. cartoon-style humor, mixed in with some kung fu action finely choreographed by the famed Yuen Clan.

A film that could be re-made scene-by-scene today and still remain relevant.
Loud, obnoxious and brings nothing new to the genre (the same way the original did with its quiet suspense and moody atmosphere). Do yourself a favor and pick up the 1957 original, recently re-mastered on dvd - the one benefit of producing a remake.
One-ups the first one on sheer energy and sharp scares.
Best opening ten minutes in a movie ever. Too bad the rest is just empty style.
