Peter Jackson apparantly loves to express emotion through hours of down time when two characters either look into each other's eyes or hug forever. Maybe it's subconsciously making me feel emotionally attached to the characters, but it's consciously making me wish the movie would hurry up and get moving. This movie could have been cut in half if only a few staring contests and group hugs were taken out.

With all that said, it was a great film that I for the most part enjoyed.
