Chaos (2005)
Agrees With....
Posted on 9/29/09 at 6:09 PM | Last edited on 9/29/09 at 6:10 PM 'Chaos' is one of those rare movies that makes you want to take a shower after watching it because it makes you feel so dirty. When this film went into production back in the first quarter of '05, it was originally intended to be a remake of Wes Craven's 1972 thriller, 'The Last House on the Left'. After the director deemed it to be original enough to stand on it's own they changed the name to 'Chaos'.
Now, this is in no way a good movie. It's actually one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemies. 'Chaos' tries to present itself as a cautionary tale and it's anything but. It's no more than an excuse for unnecessary cruelty and extreme nihilism. It's sad to think that the director who filmed and wrote this movie actually had the bravado to sit through his finished product, believe it to be good, and distribute it. 'Chaos' has a famous notoriety about being the most brutal film ever. That statement is absolutely correct. |
