well, this was basically just another teen-slasher movie, accept it had a little more depth to it. and the goryness and blood got so insane it made me laugh...i laughed through half of the movie (maybe i should see a therapist...) it wasnt at all a bad movie though... just cheesy music and not to great acting... 7/10

excellent movie. george clooney is an amazing director. before i watched it, i figured it was just going to be "ok"... and probably a little boring. but, this film kept me interested throughtout, and i was stunned by how well this was made. my only complaint, is that it could have used a little more background info... i got a little confused during the film, but i quickly figured it out. bravo, mr. clooney. 9/10

wow. dissapointing. felt extremely drawn out, was boring (the action parts were just bloody, not very exciting), and depressing. i almost didn't finish the movie, i was so sick of it. definatly not spielberg's best. far from it. but, it was well made, the special effects (mostly just the blood) were impressive, and the acting was good. thats pretty much it. 6/10

Hmmm... well, first off there are some very major plot twists and turns (major enough to make ones jaw drop), and the visual effects are stunning. but...
this, out of all of the Xmen movies, had the corniest lines and the worst dialogue, which really hurt the movie. i even found myself saying the lines out loud (more than once) right before the character said them... that's how cliche(harsh word, i know) and predictable the dialogue was. sad i know. but...
i DEFIANTLY recommend you see this movie. the CGI effects and the plot twists make the dialogue disappear. go see it!
p.s. Xmen 4... defiantly(trust me)
all in all, 8/10

This is by far one of the best WWII movies out there.

Well, as someone who hasn't read the book, i sure hope the book is more exciting than the film. It had its some-what exciting moments, but they were rare, and not to thrilling. The acting... well, Tom Hanks did a decent job (although his dialogue kinda sucked), and Ian McClellan did a good job, but other than that, the acting seemed forced on the characters. But, it was the plot that i liked. It was interesting enough to keep me awake during the movie, which it in itself is an achievement. All in all, 7/10.
