Not Hitchcock's most impressive or deep film, but it is charming with enough suspense and humour to spare.

Lifted up by its wit and dark humor, the crime caper is a lot of fun.
I agree with the consensus. It is a funny movie with some decent character development and depth. Apatow has a problem with film length though. Both this and Knocked Up felt a bit too long. However, Funny People is a step up in overall quality and the pros outweigh the cons.
