Critics: N/A Top Critics: N/A Community: Check Friends: Check Favorites: N/A Posted on 4/29/08 at 7:31 PM 5 Centimeters Per Second *** Stop it. Just . . . stop it. This can be 6-frigging-3 percent ALL IT WANTS. That doesn't change the fact that I hated everything this film had to offer. Absolutely everything about Blades of Glory pissed me off to no end. Let's do this: take this film and trim it a little, just a little. Clean it up. Hmm. Definitely remove Will Ferrell, who is in yet another stereotypical, dreadfully unfunny role, and a step down from (what I thought) was an Oscar worthy portrayel. Get rid of him. And, hmm, let's see. We could remove Jon Heder and Craig T. Nelson, who are both in flat, flat roles. Maybe if they could better convince us they were human beings, I might have liked this better. Also the supporting role by Office regular Miss what's-her-name. Go do something better. Amy Phoeler, please blink. What's-your-name from Brothers Solomon, you're creepy. All of you please go to hell and never bug me again with the most overrated and TERRIBLE film I've ever seen. Okay, so maybe not the worst. I didn't think "Blades of Glory" was by any means a terrible film, but definitely a disappointing and overrated one; it was weaker than even "Anchorman". Oh, you mean Will Arnett.
