Good old fashioned soap opera about scheming Bette Davis who runs away with her sister's (Olivia de Havilland) husband.

Bette Davis chews up the scenery as she unsympathetically destroys the lives of those around her so she can get her own way.

At times over-the-top, but always fun and trashy.
