Despite the good animation, Dead Space: Downfall is an unbearably gory film that has an unnecessary plot and untalented voice acting. The film does nothing but show us what happened before the much better video game, which we can pretty much all figure out through the video recordings present throughout the games. That makes this film an absolutely unncessary prequel. I only barely made it through the movie, as the whole plot itself seems to just be about people running through a ship and getting cut up all the way. There goes about an hour and fifteen minutes of my life that I'll never get back.
