Hilariously Ugly,

I bought this as part of Vipcos Vaults of Horror/Screamtime dvd re-issue collection under the understanding that i was directed by the legendary Italian cult horror director Fucio Fulci, but to my horror, it is virtually 100% free of Fulci's input, awful 80s rock music, terrible costume design and NO PLOT whatsoever

Strangely ive found myself watching this dvd more than a few times though, it could be the hilarious italian to english dubbing, or it could be the occasional blast of obscure atmosphere jolts. In any case, id recomend watching it atleast once to witness its absolute lunacy! with wonderful one liners like "More water!? whats that guy trying to do.. enter the book of world records for drinking water", and the shoddy zombie costumes that make the varying Phillapino living dead folks look more like pcp addicts than genuine brain gnashers. Some of the effect on gore (when i say some, i mean one or two) are actually semi-convincing, and the action scenes, although they go on far too long and are pretty dull at the best of times, the all out budget for these scenes is tremedously over the top. Thats it really, not much else worth saying other than


'watch it for a laugh, or a mock fest' but if your expecting even a mediocre zombie slasher of the Fulci standard dont give this a second look its naff in all those other departments.
