As a comicbook movie, this is fantastic! It is the most accurate adaption of a comic I've ever seen. The only big change was the ending, but I feel that it is justified by the rest of the movie. Zack Snyder only wanted to symplify the ending so that non-fans would understand it better. but it seems that noon-fans don't have the pactience to sit through the rest of the movie.

The common misconseption about this movie is that it is a superhero movie. It is more a comicbook movie. I think that this movie got a lot of bad reviews do to the fact that it is original. It doesn't have tons of explosions and non-stop action, and, dare i say, it actually requires some thinking! *gasp*

If you liked it and didn't read it, good for you.
If you liked it and read it, then see the director's cut.
If you didn't like it and did't read it, well no wonder you didn't like it.
If you didn't like it and read it, then you must be very stuborn and will not except any change, or you are Alan Moore.
