Star Trek (2009)
Agrees With....
Posted on 7/5/09 at 9:43 PM I give Star Trek 5 stars. The storyline was fabulous, creative, believable and it flowed well. Casting was excellent. Special effects were excellent. It was a pleasure to watch, very enjoyable. The only negative I can think of was that Jim Kirk was too arrogant, as was Bones. I know Bones was trying to pull off an original Bones but he came across somewhat drunk at times. Scotty hardly looked 17 with a recessed hairline. More realistically, they could have made him 24. I still give it 5 stars because the whole picture made up for the very few negatives. One thing - tell me how such an irresponsible reckless young Jim was ever accepted into the Academy despite his supposedly high IQ? Realistically.... But it was still very entertaining.
