Extremely sad. Excellent acting but I think the movie concentrated too much on the illness. I was expecting and hoping for more courtroom drama. Numerous people in the theater were choked up and sniveling, including me. To watch how the family poured their lives and hearts into the one girl and forgetting all about living in the meantime, when every surgery or procedure failed, was heartbreaking. The acting was excellent, all around. In some respects, I think we could have been spared some of the illness aspects of cancer but I guess the writers' and director's goals were to show us what it is like and to evoke the grief and sadness that we all felt. I cried, as did many.
