intriguing storyline. the star wars of cgi. thrilling and exciting to watch. certainly a spectacular film from many aspects. not a film for the ages.

story line was good. actors were not. swayze never made a movie i didn't dislike. he's the tea leoni of actors. same old wise cracking whoopster; dufus demi moore. the guy that taught swayze the ghostly arts was better than any of them, except perhaps the killer.
typical Gibson forumla: guy minds own business; guy faces crises; guy goes nuts; high body count and property damage; guy resumes own business. only the scenery and time period change.
tea leoni can't act. freeman and duvall can. and what are they doing in a waste piece like this? it's an Armageddon want to be but isn't and that's not saying much.
good action flick. will patton does a great job as the long time, reality checking right-hand man. the moments he has with his ex and son are very poignant and help center an erstwhile multiplex of themes and interludes.
